Privacy Policy

How2Switzerland is operated by Pascal Roth, an individual based in Switzerland. For anything related to this policy or your data, contact how2switzerland@gmail.com.

When you submit the "Apply for a consultation" form (embedded via Tally), we receive the name, email address and situation details (e.g. your permit status, timeline and questions) you choose to enter. This only happens if you actively fill in and submit that form.

Your browser also stores two small pieces of information locally, on your own device only, and never sends them to us: your EN/DE language preference, and, on the guide pages, which checklist items you've ticked off. These live in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and are never transmitted anywhere.

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind on this site, and we do not use cookies to track you.

• To review your application and decide honestly whether we can help with your specific situation.
• To reply to you by email about your application.
• If it's a fit, to send you a personal booking link so you can schedule and pay for a consultation.

We don't use your details for anything beyond this, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

We never see or store your card details. When you book, payment is handled directly by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, through the checkout link we send you. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle that information.

We rely on two outside services to run this site and business:

• Tally (tally.so) — collects and stores your application form submission on our behalf.
• Stripe (stripe.com) — processes payment when you book a consultation.

Both may process data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States), under their own respective privacy policies and safeguards.

We keep application and consultation records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.

Depending on where you're based, you may have rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and/or the EU GDPR to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these, email how2switzerland@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local data protection authority.
